The potential for band use of a wave:
Everything from real time promotions involving such things as t-shirts, signed guitar picks to live concerts.
Have song lyric writing contests.
Have waves where anyone can participate knowing they are subject to getting kicked out since you can always rewind the wave if needed.
Give lessons.
